Over the past few weeks our class, along with all the other students at Andrew Sibbald School came together as a caring community, working hard to collect donations to help support the clients of the Mustard Seed. We had many discussions about needs versus wants as well as the importance of working together as a community to help others in need. We read the story, 'It's a No-Money Day' and discussed how sometimes people can work hard but they might not always be able to buy some of the important things they need...and often they are not able to afford extra things that they might really want.
Students were excited to work together filling the 'Warm Feet, Warm Hearts' bags with their Grade 5 buddies.
